3950 sqft . At the beginning I felt big, but its perfect. Up to 4000 should be fine, if the house designer has used the 2 floor space properly, then its perfect of the 2 kids and some additional rooms for other things like game room, home theater etc.

I went with a bit bigger house than needed, and while cleaning is a pain, I started using commercial-cleaning-atlanta.com every few weeks.
