We did the drive between Quebec and Montreal way back in 2015 when driving back from Labrador to Boston. It was in the night and other than lot of traffic, didn't find anything different from normal highways.

We took Trans Canada A20 if I remember correctly. But if its snowing always better to check current conditions before proceeding.

Temperature is still low hovering around 0c

You should be able to drive...

 Not many issues

Quebec roads are not so great and don't drive more than 10-15 kmph on autoroute / highway

Make sure you cover your head and have gloves...

You may have flurries not snow this weekend...

If you are driving a SUV ask for winter tires. If I Quebec city  try visiting ice hotel if it's open...

There are high amount of act thefts in Montreal if you are having a rental make sure u buy insurance from rental car company so that u don't get into trouble...

Don't take car to downtown to Montreal as there is always construction going on and take the metro it covers most of Montreal and suburbs...

Any questions pm me
