nice...

for sketching...follow this twitter link...  https://twitter.com/EtheringtonBros

after that..if you are coming to colors...you need to understand few things...i learn it by practice..

1. HSV (hue, saturation, value)

2.Color wheel , Cool colors and Warm Colors

if we know these two concepts...you can play with colors...

next learn the brush techniques..like different types of brushes and techniques..

lot of color names start with chemical names...

like

Titanium White, Cadmium Red..etc becuase those colors were created with those chemicals...

you need to get used to these names...

bro..neeku interest vunda..paintings paina..

i am looking for someone to discuss...on these topics..

It appeared in my recommendations with 24M views which is very hard to get on TikTok.

When I was a kid, my dad taught me how to do graphing from existing photos. We draw a grid on a small photo and the same grid on a large paper with pencil. We then sketch the photo on the larger grid on the paper taking the smaller grid on the photo as a guide. Once done, we erase the pencil grid lines and it looks exactly like the photo. I got some prize also at the school competition haha but never took it to the next level.

If I have to take up drawing and painting, I would rather do it digitally in Procreate app on the iPad Pro 12.9" using Apple Pencil with so many features to "edit" and "tweak" the creation, zoom, tilt, symmetrical drawing, layers, gradients, "magic" brushes, download brushes, palettes, fonts, filters, 3D, crop, resize, hundreds of levels of undo/redo, ultra-high resolution (16K x 8K), millions of 64-bit colors, auto-save, import, export, animations, "screen-recording" into a video while painting, time-lapse replay, free updates and many other powerful features and carry all my creations in my pocket/iPad and never run out of paints or canvases and I can draw and paint from anywhere, anytime, on-the-go and embrace the future (but not the bulky/messy water colors, brush and canvas). For the same reason, I don't buy any hardcopy books - just eBooks and PDFs in my pocket.

I have so many occupations that I barely have any time left to continue interest in the drawing/painting area.

The award-winning Procreate app is dirt-cheap for only $13 with all the Pro features any artist would need at their finger tips (the app does most of the work). This app alone is a good excuse and justification to buy an iPad and the Pencil -

Procreate Pocket app is just $6 (start a sketch on this app with your finger on the mobile phone and continue on the iPad app later) -
