Tesla on fire

Tesla has battery and can catch fire if something pokes it either by accident or someone doing on purpose. Similarly gas cars have fuel which ignites easily. there are more fires in gas cars than electric. Google info below.

Hybrid-powered cars were involved in about 3,475 fires per every 100,000 sold. Gasoline-powered cars, about 1,530. Electric vehicles (EVs) saw just 25 fires per 100,000 sold.

people should stop giving unwanted attention to Tesla. It’s just another company but lot of people are jealous and people don’t like when someone gets a lot of attention.

Is there any proof that the person reporting fire didn’t do it manually just to claim insurance when he realized he paid 20K more than this year price?

Every time I charge I have some fear about this incidents

You know the risk is same with phones and every battery based product which can catch fire and the result will be same. There are more people who burned their house or their legs by phones catching fire.

The thing is phone battery is easy to extinguish , think about it as 1000 phones on fire at once

  • Hybrids reflected the most at 3,475 fires per 100,000 vehicles. This is most likely because hybrids utilize two powertrains.
  • ICE vehicles caught fire substantially less often, at 1,530 incidents per 100,000 vehicles.
  • EV fires were significantly lower than the others, with 25 fires per 100,000 vehicles. So of the approximately two million EVs on U.S. roads, less than two out of a 1,000 will catch fire.
