Baa SDET is good no why do you want to get into DevOps. Devops bad Ani kaadu but market is over saturated with DevOps engineers, maybe consider getting into cybersecurity instead

DevOps is over saturated by no skills opt candidates ... If you are real sdet - meaning you can write automated tests, then you have skill. Add to that and probably move to programming if you are worried.

DevOps - you can try, but follow the roadmap.

As a devops I suggest you not to chose devops. So many things to learn and even though you learn you maybe doing something else. Better learn something that you may do on the job…

Pick a tool, takva mandi una tool edayna any side where there are less ppl. Devops meda chaala mandi unar and they don’t know what devops is. As most of them end up doing production support and call it as devops.

if you want to really learn devops start with

- Git and github

- Jenkins (declarative, means groovy scripting)

- Docker

- shell scripting

- Ansible and terraform

- Kubernetes

- Helm Chart

- EkS

- basic sql

- monitoring like Prometheus and grafana

this should cover the entire devops ci cd flow.. YouTube is the best source to learn. So much content and it’s free. No need to pay anything..

Fundamental for tall this is

* Unix (not just as user, but know some internals)

* Programming (jr. developer or better) so that you can adapt to diff scripting languages you need to switch.

Cyber Security Analyst...Market ela undi brothers...any inputs on its future?

Good career choice in these markets. Last few years Ransomeware attacks increased, prompting companies to invest in this space more. Both tools and ppl in these roles.

Not really. You can learn a lot on the job. Need to learn about basic network security, protocols, learn a tool and share reports.

Ma office lo, network security gaadiki pedda emi radu. I think new. Edo reports share chesi drama chestadu. Technical questions adigite bebbe nee .. but nerchukuntunnadu .. So..
