all parts imported and assembled..

shameful

one doubt

what do their offices in India do?

Apple, Qualcomm, samsung r&d etc etc?

I don't think design in US means US lo oka office room lo andaru kuchoni design chesthaaru ani,

even manufacturing kooda mostly as manial as assembling,

we need to be shameful for different reason,

for not being able to produce mobiles of our own brand,

that reason seems to be leading us to lacking capacitor and chip making capabilities, where china and taiwan are thriving,

along with capabilities, we need to also talk about mining to get the raw materials for this, which is a ecology and environment problem, also people will fight for saving environment, selling lands to corporates,

"shameful" is not as easily "shameful" as it sounds.

Mostly validation work. Pre-silicon simulation nundi, qualifications and line monitoring ayye characterization varaku India lo run chestaru. Cheap labor and cheap resources. Easily manageable politicians. Forage for corporations.

Ala anadhu bro apple fan boys will get hurt.

Why? Samsung foundry is a huge business. They occupy big market share in all segments. Backed by the government. No other companies get such huge subsidies.

I know Huawei and Qualcomm do software development in india.. like creating security certs using pure c language, Java based applications.. they pay very very good.. especially new grads..but hire top talent.. you get to work in Taiwan and China in critical projects

arei Bokka, ituvanti bokka lo kaburlu anni nee laanti bokkalo gaalle nammaali..chaalaa kastapaddaadu ee diagram geesinoodu...market lo most famous companies ni theesukochi, vaatini tag cheesaadu simple gaa..

There are many holes in your diagram which is aimed at (un)naming and shaming India:

1. All the companies you are mentioning, except Apple, have major software centers in India (Mostly Bangalore).

2. The diagram itself is not correct as it fails to mention the name of one small but very powerful German company called Carl Zeiss, which makes everything related to LENS. Bokkaloodhi random gaa SONY, Japan ni select cheesaaru camera kosam.

3. Next, even though the main chip-set is done by TSMC, a lot of chip-design work is contributed by an UK based company called ARM.

The diagram is meant just to defame India, which is very wrong.
