If you are looking to use a lot of apps, go for iPhone. iOS has millions of cool apps, the ecosystem and free of malware.

If you want jacked up hardware specs with higher RAM, cool screen, higher resolution camera, go for Android.

Androids slow avutaya even Samsung sony?

Yes, they slow down. Same thing with their tablets. It's not the issue with hardware but the bloatware O/S. Not much resale value of the hardware after a year or so.

Because Android is a one-size-fits-all ready-made Java-based opensource O/S, the devices need jacked up hardware specs like powerful processor, extra RAM, etc. to function. Even with all those premium specs, there is a lag in the O/S that some of the cool apps on iOS (eg: Music Production apps) cannot be ported to Andriod anytime soon due to the lag. Android users keep begging iOS devs to port their music apps but nothing can be done in the foreseeable future due to the lag.
