TN is not the fiefdom of DMK, if anything majority of people in TN hate DMK. Only a small 'intellectual class' have thrown their weight behind DMK since its inception, trying to influence and convince Tamils of its ideology. The only thing they were successful in convincing TN is that 'TN doesnt need Hindi'.

Periyar ideology may be the worst ideology, but it didn't kill anyone. It was never the aggressor, unlike the 'ideology' that you subscribe to, that instigated multiple riots and killed many people all across.
