Warehouse jobs

Nursing

Plumbers

Roof top and brick layering

Carpenters

Tree cutters and Gardening

Waste dumpers

At least in UK, these are professions with maximum income, much higher than any IT professional

Yes bro, thats WAS the case when most of the contracts were Outside IR35 where you can retain 85% of daily rate.

Now the rate is the same but the role is INSIDE IR35 which means you will not get even a Penny above 55%.

Thats a drastic drop of 30% of your Net earnings, which is a real pain for millions of families in the UK.

To compensate this, many Telugu tejams working hard for side income because most of us have already started property ladder of houses worth more than £600k

domain knowledge is important like banking, insurance, healthcare or pharma…etc

may be in few years …programming tasks will be taken over by AI…

so domain experts (SME) with prompt engineering can do the job…

But for sure Programming as a skill will never fade away.

More AI tools might come into use by domain experts but tools themselves need to be Designed,coded,Tested&Configured... this will exist till eternity.

May be doing mundane tasks like for-looping, logical comparision, compiling and deploying might change but that cycle will surely exist.
