Tulum travel recommendations

Planning to travel  to Tulum with family . Evaraina recent ga velithe please recommend good resorts to stay and must places to visit regarding cenotes,beaches and ruins. 

How is the transportation from airport to hotel ?

Was there a couple of times but had personal transportation both times.

First time we went in 2018 we stayed at Sol Caribe which is a 2 hr drive from Tulum Beach on a dirt road. I wouldn't suggest it unless you want to stay away from crowds.

2nd time we stayed near Bacalar and just visited Tulum beach and Ruins. 

Tulum Beach area is very busy with lots of hotels and restaurants. 

Cenotes I visited are Grand Cenote which is very close to Tulum with lots of transportation options. Cenote suytun is great but its a bit far from Tulum and very touristy but on the way to Chichen-Itza. 

Family tho usually better option is resorts between tulum, Playa de Carmen and cancun which provide their own transportation.
