more importantly material sciences anta; most of these courses are funded; because you rarely see students taking up these courses; contrary to IT courses people in these courses are very less usually. as @hydusguy said u need to come out of junk univs; then lets assume that this program as 10-15 say 25 students at max for masters degree that's normal number for departments to have quality of students,
