Required Skills:
·        Strong PL/SQL skills; stored procedures, functions, packages, triggers
·        Solid UNIX scripting skills
·        Experience with denormalized and normalized data
·        Query Tuning
·        Bachelor's degree in Computer Science preferred with 6+ years of experience in software design, development and maintenance
·        Proven technical knowledge in software development and testing methodologies
·        Primary emphasis will be Oracle PL/SQL, UNIX scripting, tuning, and testing. Require four or more years extensive experience in Oracle database and PL/SQL including Stored Procedures, Functions, and Triggers. Background in Oracle query tuning is a preferred. Strong background in UNIX scripting is preferred.
·        Must possess strong unit, integration and system testing skills.
·        Secondary emphasis will be analysis, design and technical specification writing. Strong analytical and design skills preferred.
·        Ability to work independently from technical specifications is required.
·        Must have experience working with denormalized and normalized data
·        Background in Data modeling is a plus.
·        Excellent interpersonal and communications skills in working with other developers and users.
·        Excellent problem solving and consultative skills. Must be a team player with a positive attitude, enthusiasm, initiative, sense of urgency, and be self-motivated.
·        Ability to work overtime and provide off-hours support as required 

Description:
·        Performs moderately complex development tasks.
·        Duties will include analysis, design, technical specification writing, Oracle PL/SQL coding, UNIX scripting, testing, tuning.
·        Works with Lead Developers, Data Analysts, DBA*s, and end-users in the specification, design, and construction, testing, and implementation process.
·        Researches and understands the business and technical requirements, including target environment and performance criteria; suggests technical approaches to management on projects.
·        Assists in project planning and scheduling.
