Mumbai, Mar 31: Sri Lankan coach Trevor Bayliss reckons that the World Cup final against hosts India was a "difficult assignment" and said both the teams had an equal chance of winning at this stage.

"We have played India on a number of occasions and have beaten them before on a lot of occasions. (But) it (the final) is a difficult assignment", Bayliss said ahead of the clash of the Asian titans.

Bayliss said the match was 50-50 at this stage but the Sri Lankans were confident of pulling off a victory.

"This match is 50-50 at this stage. Obviously, there will be a lot of pressure on India to perform at home. We have been able to do that in the last couple of games and come out with two good wins.
