We had planned Yuvraj's first ball dismissal: Wahab

Karachi, Apr 5 : Young Pakistan left-arm pacer Wahab Riaz has revealed that he and the coaching staff had planned well in advance the first ball dismissal of India's man-of-the-tournament Yuvraj Singh in the high-profile World Cup semi-final clash in Mohali.

Wahab was the wrecker in chief during India's innings in the semi-final with a five-wicket haul and also cleaned up in-form Yuvraj for a duck with a swinging yorker.

"It was a dismissal that I had played out in my mind several times after it was confirmed that we would play India in the semi-final," Wahab said.

"I worked hard on that particular delivery in the nets with the coaches, Waqar Younis and Aaqib Javed. We all felt that the only way to stop Yuvraj's golden form was to get him in the first few balls," he added.
