When it comes to political leaders and their connection with the media channels, it takes different forms. Sometimes it is more about bringing the truth to the people and sometimes, it is all about showing the personality in the right light so that the voters get influenced. In a way, it is more of a business understanding between the channel and few leaders.

Something like that is right now happening as per reliable sources. It is being said that many political leaders who are yet to make the right mark in the top league of politicians are now being filtered and approached by few channels with a proposition. An exclusive thirty minutes or one hour program will be canned on this leader and then he/she is projected in their channel as part of the special feature.

In return, all the leader has to do is pay an amount of two lakh rupees or so for the projection . While the rates differ from person to person, it is being said that most of the politicians have liked the concept and given the various number of channels that are currently existing, they are said to be looking at negotiating the financial terms so that their objective is achieved and even the channel folks are happy since their pockets are getting filled.

Though this sounds a bit embarrassing and shameful, these are the times that we are living in and the kind of political system that we are dealing with.
