Lakshmi Praneetha who is a first year student in Vignan Engineering College( Vadlamudi, Guntur) majoring in Electronics and Communication Engineering has won the gold medal and a trophy for winning the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Inter-Collegiate Chess Tournament organised at Hyderabad.
