PMREDDY19
high availability goal aithe .. failover undaali kadha .. idhi db failover kadhu le reddy garu .. db okkate untundi .. kakapothe the way u access the db is via multiple hosts .. e multiple nodes (hosts) ni cluster antaaru .. so oka node fail aina .. u still have other nodes through which u can access db
I never thought I was requesting those 5 extra vips on a 3-node Oracle RAC for this Failovertask.. I thought this Fail-over is always done manually between the Dat acentres. and those additional VIPS requested were for making the connection between the APP server and the Data base.. But this is something new to know that The Cross connection of Datacentres can also happen via VIPs. coorrect me if I understood wrong in terms of Datacentre.. Are we discussing about Failoer between the nodes in the RAC rather than a Failover between Datacentre????
