but we used some kind of embedded url than a RAC bcoz of issues we faced with Oracle DB RAC cluster in my previous project more than an year ago..

but now in the current set of priojects we are refreshing, we had a big chunk of DB RAC clusters comign up..

RAC valla andhari ki work untundi .. like Sys admin will have to do some work .. DBA's need to do some .. even application folks will have to do the configurational settings differently .. kani end-user ki internal ga em aina kuda.. antha transparent ga untundi .. andhu k clients wants to get into RAC

If I am not wrong.. VIP provided with the Server while racking , is used as a SCAN ip..

++ When other nodes in RAC finds a dead node (node 1 ,2 3 node able to communicate with node 4 means node 4 dead ) is the voting disk will evict the dead node or control file or node which finds the dead node first .???

as far as I know ... split brain syndrome will be handled by Oracle itself internally .. documentantion chadhavaali nenu kuda.. how exactly it works anedhi ... u dont have to do anything externally to side-track this issue

inka control file annaav .. ye control file ? if it is about db's control file .. adhi shared storage meedha untundi .. so it shudnt be effected
