Can you post your camera specs..what is it's crop factor..I guess you cant go wider focal length with smaller frame + low  crop factor

Yours is apsc sensor, so you can't get wider frame for 85mm..

 

85mm f1/8 th for better potraits..

Yes 50 mm or 85 mm .35 mm you get just the nose and eyes..very closeup.
