is it worth leaving govt job and coming to usa?

dabbulu nijam ga saripotaya usa lo -- Tampa na office ?(okkadi salary to sardukovacha????) 

She should resign her job and come. is that a good idea?

 

any suggestions?

Think as a long term perspective.

1. How long you want to stay in USA.

2. Is your wife ready to find a job in USA. ( Visa's is a pain ) . Be patient and deal with Visa.

3. US is a consumer world, every comfort costs. Both has to earn for a better living. Single income is not sufficient unless one makes 150K+ a year.

4. In case you want to earn and leave to  India for good, then your efforts to come and make quick money is valid. make sure you have good pay to make quick money.

5. If you want to settle down in USA, the money you make is a wash out. Kids fee, old age home etc...

6. One thing with USA, you can buy comfort. Govt will provide basic necessities with reasonable cost. In India maids is the only comfort one can get by spending money.

7. your wife quitting govt job is a big sacrifice,,, will both of you ready work hard and make most use of it in USA.

8. The other side always looks greener, learn to appreciate what you have. Why don't you think in this direction.

9. Never repent on your decisions,, that's the key to happy and stress free life....

govt job resign chesi mari vochi ekkada podichedi emi ledu man (if only you can work)  .. if you are getting on-site offer ask for temporary assignments like 3+ months duration, so that atleast you can make some fast bucks (i.e. in form of per-diem) and invest back in India which is non-taxable also you can visit some places while you are here.

Mee wife Govt job antunnavu......is it an IT related job? or regular public sector related job (Irrigation dept, road n buildings etc etc????)......endukante I never heard of IT related jobs in our Govt (both state n central lo)....may be I;m wrong..........endukante, if she is no way related to IT field, repu US vachaka em job chesthundi thanu........ikkada manaku thelisi only H1 jobs ey which is purely technology.....thanu assalu ah background kakapothe how can we apply H1 in the first place. So prepare for single family income....and nuvvu on-site job antunnav kaabatti.....TCS, Wipro or any Offshore company wont pay you as much as regular FTE's.......max $100 lopu untadi (if u r a lead/manager)...ledante 85 - 90K anthe.........so it will be pretty tough in future once u have kids and plan on buying a house etc (dont forget India trips....adi peeluthundi family motham trip veyyalante - and inviting ur parents + in-laws)......after few yrs when u decide to go back to India........appudu malli mee wife back to Govt job ki eligible avvadu (anukunta....not sure though!)....so think abt it

sorry for confusion... Tanadi govt job and nadi sofware and ...we get 1 lac + to get kievery mnth.... Am a important resource of our company (ani ma ceo feeling)...recently our company got merged with usa based company and our ceo became board of directors..so he wanted me to come there. He says he ll provide house aswell and deduct hr allowance...packge final cheyyaledu inka...so idi matter...reply ichina andariki thanks...but me replies choostunte rakoodadanipistundi...choodam em jaruguddo...

Man..pros n cons annitilo untayi...but onsite kabatti neeku after taxmax4k vasthayi n nee pellam kaali...but vere vadini vethukkoni nuvvu jump jalani kottocchu n u can statrt new lyf here in us...later pellam ki kuda same process n it goes on..but konni days n mnths opika pattali for ebrythng to happen...

 

i wont suggest wife oka place n husband oka place lo working..its stupid just for money u r wasting a fruitful life,,,so anni decide chesukoni think...gud luck!
