budgetpadbhanabam Posted June 15, 2015 Report Posted June 15, 2015 Hi Accuman..i am not saying your are wrong...i ahave friends who joined in 2008 i thought of join at that time but it was late before i did..i just finished my master at that time and dint get a chance to concentrate on this...when i click the link you posted..i saw this one..but in order to make sure if it works for every i I am going to Brentwood,CA today to meet army recruiting office to see if we qualify..i will keep you guys posted.
budgetpadbhanabam Posted June 16, 2015 Report Posted June 16, 2015 Hi Gusy those who are interested to apply through MAVNI.. i went to nearest army location yesterday evening...as soon as i entered i thought of asking few questions written in paper which i thought of asking them..but they dint listen to me and forced to take the test. They asked me first take the test without even checking if i am qualified or not they just asked me which language your good at. I said I am good in Hindi...the test is basically on English, math..i got 49 and the required score was 50 min..as i am not really prepared i thought i should have qualified if i am mentally prepared..they said i can take test again if needed...i dint get a chance to ask my questions....i am not really interested to apply for it..but curious about it...at this age i dont fee like i should risk and go for it..if you are a OPT student i suggest go for it...but if you are on H1B and married or have kids...dont feel like taking that risk...but make sure how many years of active duty you need to do...
