Dude as far as i know if someone faces problem with experience letter from previous employer they usually get a notarized letter from any of the colleagues from that company Which can be used during GC filing.

I have seen lot of people who got FT job and we never had any issues and their employers were one of the worst in the market still they got their money back with no issues, none of us paid a penny to Employer. Na friends group lo around 8 out of 10 people faced this issue when we took FT, we never had problem and infact they filed a case against their employers and got all the money back- Any claim to the employment tribunal must be made within three months less one day of the breach, but you could choose to make the breach of contract claim in the county court

 

Being that said Non- compete does not stop you from moving out of your Employer with 2 weeks notice that is the rule in H1B. 

 

Apart from this, I have never seen any issues so far. But, most of the consultants are afraid to file a case so thats their problem and please dont feed Employers unnecessarily and instead you have right to kick their A$S if they don't pay you.
