Government losing the bauxite wars

The bauxite battles is being lost by the Government in the most insipid of manner. It has been 48 hours since the reds gunned down a MTPC member in the Manyam belt bordering Araku. And yet the government has not been able to mount a modicum of a response. Meanwhile the remaining MTPScs are resigning in droves. They are coming in front if TV cameras and pleading helplessness. Some are even advocating that the government stop mining of bauxite. The situation is a far cry since the days when YSR was alive. Rosaiah has been at best indifferent to the while situation Apart from losing obvious revenue the government is allowing the muzzle of the gun to rile the tribal belt. If this be the case the government will soon lose its writ. As things exist there is a parallel government in force in the tribal regions. The police have long ago stopped their duties and are only there as a token presence, If anything they are living in abject fear and are keen on protecting themselves more than they protect the public . The MLAs and MPs visit the region as if they are visiting a war zone. Their connect with the public and the ground reality is laughably low.
