Except eega in all movies he shows woman as an object the main reason I hate him

 

yeah. thematically his movies are stuck in the past.

 

But he does have a good command on his craft. It shows on the screen.

 

I think being around people at the top in Telugu Industry has made him oblivious to this huge flaw in his movies.

 

the women in his movies have no personality to speak of. Even in Eega. This is what stops him from becoming a great director.

Ghajini is a good movie. Nobody said it was the worst!

I said it kadha. that film was one of the most puke worthy films I've ever seen. copied ki example ga cheppina - worst ga copy kodithe alaa untadhi cinema ani.

just listen to the dialogues aa cinemaa lo. all artificial emotions, overacting. adhi ela hit ayyindho.

wrong....lack of originality stops him.....

lack of originality is probably because he is unable to create characters that break the stereotype in Telugu movies. especially of women.

originality in themes - again he'll be accused of copying, if the film resembles some random film that someone with lot of time in his hands had watched :)

and in today's social media, the word travels very fast.

just compare rajamouli with some directors from Tamil, big budget makers like Shankar, murugadoss, and some others. rajamouli is much better, because he knows his limitations, and doesn't make movies that make you squirm (unless its about showing heroine's body, like paamp said). okay that ravi teja movie is stupid, but he gets better with every film.

shankar and murugadoss deserve special place in hell for the kind of movies they continue to make.

IMO, he'll make better films if the critics aren't throwing around words like 'copied' and develop a sense of innate decency while critiquing a film. Telugu film critics are probably the worst bunch in the whole world.

There is nothing 'original' about telugu critics too.

rajamouli, inspite of big budgets of his movies, stays true to the people he makes the movies for.

it is an extraordinary quality for a big budget movie director to not get carried away by all that noise.
