Let us first clearly define and describe what "Ootha Padalu" means. Culturally accepted meaning of the above is: any word that is being used very frequently by a person/entity.

 

So, let us define what 'frequently' means.

 

Is it a word used more than 10 times per day? or 25 times per day? or 37 times per day? We do not know.

 

Since frequently is a very relative term, let us talk in terms of percentages. So considering percentages, is an "Ootha Padam" something that constitutes at least 5% of the total words? or 10% or 25 %? 

 

What percentage of the total words mentioned, must a word occupy for it to be considered an "Ootha Padam"?
