*****INDIA Vs NEW ZEALAND CRICKET SERIES 2016 - NZ TOUR OF INDIA*****

4.48pm And now they're off. The light meters are finally showing a reading lower than yesterday's, I guess Kohli was about to come on and bowl just before they went off. What a session for India. Three wickets for 43 runs, all three to that man Bhuvneshwar, and New Zealand are in a really, really deep hole now.

Ashwin to Patel, OUT, and he strikes immediately. Tossed up nice and slow outside off. Patel aims for cow corner, and ends up skying a catch to mid-off moving to his right. I think the drift undid him here. It drifted away, pitched, and didn't turn, just went on with the drift

Mohammed Shami to Watling, OUT, gone! A bit of reverse into Watling, quite full, and the best way to play these balls is to get a big stride forward so that even if it swings in and beats your inside edge, you're hit on the pad outside the line of off stump. Watling didn't do that. His front leg was planted a short way forward, in front of middle stump, and he stood no chance

Mohammed Shami to Wagner, OUT, gone! The question was whether it pitched in line. He's bowling over the wicket to a left-hander, but it's fairly full. Stays in the crease and tries to punch down the ground, bat comes down at an angle, going towards wide mid-on. Ball misses his inside edge and hits his front pad. Ball pitched just on the edge of a leg-stump line. Not sure half of the ball was in line

N Wagner lbw b Mohammed Shami 10 (18b 0x4 1x6) SR: 55.55

India 2nd Innings Batting

5.4

Henry to Vijay, OUT, Henry gets Vijay again. And again it's a beautiful delivery, seams away after angling in towards off stump. Vijay comes forward to defend, and nicks to second slip. If you can fault the batsman, he was still on his way forward, and hadn't transferred his weight fully, and hadn't come far enough forward to minimise the effect of the seam movement

Henry to Pujara, OUT, full, hits the front pad again, and this time Kettleborough gives it out! Again it was angling in a long way, and Pujara's front pad, having come across in his forward press, was moving away from the line to try and make some space for the flick. It hit the outside of his pad, cut back in quite sharply, and it looks like it might have missed leg stump. Looks even worse in a slomo front-on replay with the tramline drawn in. Pitched on off, hit the outside of his pad in front of leg stump

CA Pujara lbw b Henry 4 (7b 1x4 0x6) SR: 57.14

Boult to Dhawan, OUT, good ball, nips in, and New Zealand have another lbw. Dhawan was going across the stumps as he looked to defend from the crease, and his front pad ended up coming in the way of his bat. Pitched on or just outside off stump, and hit pad in front of middle. Excellent delivery, not the greatest footwork from Dhawan

S Dhawan lbw b Boult 17 (32b 4x4 0x6) SR: 53.12

Henry to Rahane, OUT, short on off stump, Rahane goes for the pull, and New Zealand have their fourth! I don't know if it bounced any more or less than expected, he just ended up playing under it, didn't get his hands high enough in his backlift, maybe, and top-edges to long leg

Boult to Kohli, OUT, gone, is he? Yes, says Richard Kettleborough! Shuffled across to defend this short ball angling into him, and it kept extremely low. Hit him at shin height. Little he could have done about it, except maybe shuffle outside the line. And the impact may well have been an inch or so outside off stump. The on-field umpire can't see tramlines on the pitch, though, and it isn't an unreasonable decision

V Kohli lbw b Boult 45 (65b 7x4 0x6) SR: 69.23
