Ashwin to Taylor, OUT, drift, beautiful drift, and Ross Taylor plays down the wrong line. His bat goes from gully towards wide mid-on, as it often does, and the ball drifts away, turns in just a little, and beats his outside edge to hit his front pad. Richard Kettleborough didn't hesitate to give that out, and I suspect it was plumb, hitting in front of middle and off or thereabouts. In front of off stump

LRPL Taylor lbw b Ashwin 4 (28b 0x4 0x6) SR: 14.28

Ashwin to Latham, OUT, got him, and that's a beauty of a delivery. Floated it up high and inviting, wide of off. Drives away from his body and nicks to Saha. Didn't get to the pitch of it at all

Mohammed Shami to Santner, OUT, fullish, angling in from wide of the crease, and Richard Kettleborough upholds a confident shout from Shami. Strikes in front of off and middle as it beats the inside edge of his defensive shot. Fair enough decision at first glance, but he went really wide of the crease, so it may just have missed leg? Hawkeye (the one on our scorecard) says it's clipping leg stump

MJ Santner lbw b Mohammed Shami 9 (20b 2x4 0x6) SR: 45.00

Mohammed Shami to Watling, OUT, bowled him! Shami is on fire here, takes off in the Shoaib Akhtar/Allan Donald aeroplane celebration. Reverse into Watling, and for some reason it beats his outside edge as he looks to push through cover and takes out off stump. It straightened a bit off the pitch, that's why. Such a difficult ball to play

BJ Watling b Mohammed Shami 1 (8b 0x4 0x6) SR: 12.50

Jadeja to Ronchi, OUT, back of a length, this one goes on with the angle as Ronchi makes room to play through his favourite region square on the off side. Hurries into him, and he jams his bat down to try and keep it out but can only inside-edge into his pad and then into the stumps

L Ronchi b Jadeja 32 (60b 4x4 0x6) SR: 53.33

Kumar to Patel, OUT, now it's Bhuvneshwar's turn to hit top of off. This swings in from a good length, and Patel plays a poor shot, no footwork, looks to drive on the up away from his body, and leaves a big gate with a 'Welcome to Stumpsville' sign draped across it

JS Patel b Kumar 2 (7b 0x4 0x6) SR: 28.57

Jadeja to Henry, OUT, tossed up, and finally Jadeja gets Henry. Kohli had returned to the field in the previous over, and now he's at short cover to grab onto this uppish drive from Henry, to a ball tossed up on off stump. Reflex, one-handed catch to his right at shoulder height

MJ Henry c Kohli b Jadeja 18 (44b 2x4 0x6) SR: 40.90

Mohammed Shami to Boult, OUT, bouncer, and Boult backs away from the line and gives it an almighty heave. Top-edges it high in the air, and Vijay moves backwards and to his right from first slip and completes a commanding Indian performance

TA Boult c Vijay b Mohammed Shami 4 (14b 0x4 0x6) SR: 28.57

India climb to No. 1 in the ICC Test rankings, and they've done it with a superb all-round performance on a tricky pitch that gave New Zealand's bowlers as much assistance as it did theirs.
