did you file standard or itemized ... ?     standard you dont have option to say you dont have insurance .... ?   my friend didnt had insurance for whole year ....   not sure  if he had to pay any fine ( he did standard tax file ) .......

Motham 1 year lekunna just $200 or $300 fine ani vinna tax filing time lo. Some family ppl r not taking insurance because looting lose of monthly bill. Check how much fine we need to pay if we don't have full year insurance.  

Take high deductible imsurance if u r healthy so monthly premium would be lower

not 200 or 300, For 2016, the fee is $695 or 2.5% of your income — whichever is higher. Maximum $2,085

Not sure about this  ... kani tax returns lo deduct chesi migatha amount return istara .... ? ... but if you  do standard filing how will they know you didn't had insurance ani ... ?

1095-B and 1095-C forms generate chestunnaru kada insurance vadu and employer for health insurance. So IRS can find with this. SSN is linked to health insurance too

GP. Just curious ..how do they know we  have or don't have health insurance? How do they calculate fine ? We do not claim as expense if we are paying insurance even with employer so fine deniki pay cheyali if we dont have insurance? can we claim for  health insurance if we are paying ? i never did
