Color tv is still a luxury for most of the people in AP..ila gaallo matladi use ledu..reality chudu mama..last 12 yrs lo there were more than 13000 farmer suicides..imagine the number of farmers who attempted suicide..adhi pakkana pettu..rural and urban slums entha daarunam ga untayo okasari velli chuste kani telidu..nenu vellanu..chusanu..i agree konni slums lo chudadanike ala untayi lopala antha manchi life untadi..kani thats a very small part of the actual thing..there is terrible poverty in AP..people need an opportunity to earn their living, educate their children, have some sort of an insurance if they fall sick..ivi primary ga evarikaina kani andubaatulo undalsinavi..it makes no sense to doll out free color tvs when u knw tht the families have no income, children dont go to school, they cant even pay the electricity bills..color tv is the most ridiculous election scheme adopted by tdp..there are more than 30000 schools in AP with out toilets..there 10s of thousands of schools without teachers, without basic infrastructure..the health services in govt hospitals and PHCs are horrible..u get more diseases if u go there for treatment..and then we have unemployment..now tell me which ones come first..luxury of basic needs..
and next money transfer is highly glorified crappy scheme..it was implemented in brazil, nigeria and a few other countries..the conditions were that the families would get money only if
1. they get their nutrition levels checked periodically
2. they send their children to school and have minimum percentage of attendance.
There was some sort of a change but thats totally different because, our problems r different..
