Yes. There is huge difference. There are 2 ways of telling this. 1. There are no internships/jobs if you don't go to good univ. For that you need great GRE score. He will then put effort on GRE, application, and does some research on Univs. 2. It doesn't matter. Everyone will come, work in gas station, ultimately get some job through consultancy. He will then just attempt GRE and join some nameless/useless Univ. It is not the issue with people who are aspiring to come to US. It is issue with people who are already in US, who even though know the importance of univ but still do not guide incoming students properly. Quote

Don't assume things based on your experiences. This doesn't happen to everyone, esp for those who work hard and know its importance. Don't assume everyone is an average guy. When you guide someone, you start by telling importance of effort, diligence, and sincerity. Not about luck, and politics. Quote

Did you see my first post? I have 2 categories covered. TS knows what category his cousin belongs to and the next steps. Like I always say, you give hope to people who want to work hard. You don't need to give hope to scrap. Because they don't listen and they just go with the flow. Quote
