Thing is not which army we want to join... its a choice based on  the pride, respect  and happiness we get by serving the land we like / admire much... any day US military is far better than any other military in the world... this is the only army where everyone is treated with respect irrespective of your rank or race (this statement is based on personal experience).. my maternal uncle retired as Captain in Indian Air Force and he himself agrees with me...
