NRIs vs Indians back home.

which group is worse? criteria.

1. casteism

2. crab like attitude (asking for h1, h4ead, opt to be canceled after using them for themselves)

3. affiliation towards Hindu majoritarianism (whining about imagined cultural grievances)

4. greediness.

5. absolute lack of empathy (for dalits/muslims back home, and for non-white races in the US)

Ofcourse Indians back home are a diverse bunch. So you can restrict yourself to your circle in making the comparison.

Its a tough competition.

I'm not able to pick a clear winner.

NRIs seem to be slightly better, but only because many of their kids are amazingly disconnected from the baggage that parents suffer from.

India is completely disconnected .. simply because of lack of a common goal ! Uses outdated religions and cultures that are not relevant to current society anymore. The same castes they are entitled to have lost their meaning long time back, a police can be from any caste but he will refer to his caste not as police but some outdated occupation their ancestors did years back. Indians are kept ignorant for ages, and it won't change without some major destruction to the society

Whoever promises to cleanup the ancestral mess will be voted in the future

Typical middle class optimism, that denies its own role in furthering casteism.

eg. failure to recognize the need for reservations and mindlessly pushing for economic based reservation.

casteism is never going away from India. It is the basis of life in India, and the thing that has held back India all these years.

It took me such a long time to understand what "Hindu rate of growth" meant. Even though it was derogatory in tone, it was perfectly justified. Hindus are not comfortable with a shake in social order. It deeply entrenched in the society, that they prefer the order, compared to the wealth that change can bring.

Good contest. But, no one can beat NRIs. Politically manipulated and exploited fools are always better and hence lose this contest to the self-made fools.

who are self-made? NRIs, Indians, are all part of the larger WTO strategy that India acceded to. Without opening up Indian markets, the job markets to Indians and immigration chance will close too.
