Post 6 yrs h1b you need atleast labor approved for 1 yr extn or i140 for 3 yrs extn (Though not guaranteed). 6 yrs ayipote gaps kuda lekunda yes you need labor/ i140 approval.

If you are asking about  copy of approval you can get even if your employer doesn't give kada ?

Immediately kavalante idk. But asalu copy deniki you can apply without it i guess (not 100% sure). Btw stamping ki velledappudu mi employer niku full pdf pampada which was mailed to USCIS? Mavadu pamputadu so i have all copies including i140.

ok - I think you are talking about the FOIA process - you can easily find the email of foia officer , try calling and explaining the situation , you can even go to that office - if it has many clerks ..try talking with each one

I know these are not easy and doesn't necessarily work in all cases - but desperate situations tappadu .. part of the game
