Did any one married without dowry?

I was never interested in taking dowry for my marriage.

It hugely helped that my wife happens to be American which means there was a complete absence of the concept of a dowry. Got married in a court - justice of peace marriage. Saved money up and went to Hawaii for our 5th anniversary instead of spending a lot of money for our wedding.

Nope. I gave her New Zealand citizenship since I am a kiwi citizen.  We lived most of our married life in New Zealand. We will go back again.

We got married in the US since her parents are here.
