Actually, India has one of the lowest cancer incidence rates. Definitely a lot more cancer cases, but that's because of the huge population. There is definitely an impact of life style, especially pesticides in foods. But there is also increase in some cancers (cervical) that is caused by viruses like HPV, which is contagious. Cancer is definitely more a disease for the developed world. But the fast rate of development and the changing demographics of India is one of the reasons.
