ఎమ్మెల్సీ ఎన్నికల్లో టీడీపీ అభ్యర్థి ఘోర పరాజయం

విశాఖపట్నం: ఉత్తరాంధ్ర ఉపాధ్యాయ ఎమ్మెల్సీ ఎన్నికల్లో టీడీపీ అభ్యర్థి గాదె శ్రీనివాస రావు ఘోర పరాజయం పాలయ్యారు. గతంలో రెండు సార్లు ఎమ్మెల్సీగా గెలిచిన గాదె శ్రీనివాసరావుపై పాకలపాటి రఘు వర్మ విజయం సాధించారు. మొత్తం ఓట్లలో రఘు వర్మకు 7834 మొదటి ప్రాధాన్యత ఓట్లు రాగా.. గాదె శ్రీనివాస రావుకు 5632 మొదటి ప్రాధాన్యత ఓట్లు మాత్రమే వచ్చాయి.

మరో అభ్యర్థి అడారి కిషోర్‌ కుమార్‌కు 2548 ఓట్లు పడ్డాయి. ఎవరికీ కోటా ఓట్లు రాకపోవడంతో రెండో ప్రాధాన్యత ఓట్లను లెక్కించాల్సి వచ్చింది. రెండో ప్రాధాన్యత ఓట్లలో రఘు వర్మకు ఎక్కువ రావడంతో ఆయన విజయం సాధించారు. ఓట్ల లెక్కింపులో భాగంగా ఆరు రౌండ్లలోను మెజారిటీ సాధిస్తూ వచ్చారు. టీడీపీ పట్ల ప్రజల్లో పెరిగిన వ్యతిరేకతతోనే ఎమ్మెల్సీగా గాదె శ్రీనివాస రావు ఓటమి పాలయ్యారని పరిశీలకులు భావిస్తున్నారు.
