Amaravati: Political battle in Andhra Pradesh is not only attracting the attention of the people of the country and also the analysts as speculation is increasing about who among Jagan's YSRCP, Pawan's Jana Sena and Chandra Babu's TDP could emerge the king and the kingmakers but also that of the punters.

Betting is increasing as the polling date is nearing and the political parties are readying for the final assault. Bookies are expecting that bets worth Rs 2,000 crore will be placed in this election; in the recent Assembly elections in Telangana state, punters bet about Rs 1,500 crore on the winning chances of the Telangana Rashtra Samiti and Congress.

Not only bookies are taking bets on the winning chances of the parties but also on the majority margin. Bookies are having a field day in the hotbed of West Godavari. Majority of punters are placing bets on the YSR Congress winning, and bookies are accepting betting on 1:1 ratio (eg if the punter bets Rs 1 lakh on YSR Congress winning, he would get another one lakh if it wins).

Nenu 9 L petta YCP meeda.. geliste 15L vastayi..

The group I put the money with is in Guntur. They stopped taking bets on YCP now because so far 70% of the money is on YCP and even with 1:2.5 returns only 30% of the bets are on TDP.. Total 30c bets riding with them..
