Are there any preferred/prime vendors in this forum or worked with them directly, Do you feel the below is fare, let’s say that client pays 100$ per hour to preferred vendor

15 % on Corp to Corp - 85$ to Employer

20% on 1099 - 80$ to Contractor

25% on W-2 - 75$ to Employee

1099 rate should be same as c2c. W2 rate should be at least less than 8% of 1099 or c2c rate. If w2 employer provides you healthcare insurance subsidy and holiday pay, it is even less.

There is no rule book how much a vendor should pay. Unless you have deep insights it's not easy for you to make yourself convince. Any preferred vendor will be forced to give bulk or volume discount for the services back to the client (this changes from client to client). The amount of the discount varies on many factors and no one will tell you their trade deals. If you are not happy with billing you have to move-on there is no point to sit and argue to come to your terms.
