If you see the land between san franscicso and los angeles...the valley...it was a dry and dead land and thanks to the irrigational canal system that it has now formed backbone of californian economy...same with arizona...

out of interest chadivina California valley irrigation canal system....its so much impressive...

in fact, if a farmer wants water for his field and there is no canal nearby, the agricultural government can even lay a pipeline exclusively for this purpose...and now, california has most cash crops

Look at Idaho...panikimalina land adi...yearly oka three months climate not suitable for agriculture...but they produce potaties like anything.

flight nundi kanipistayi valla circular fields...

such techniques are the need of the hour and we are still struck at providing pensions to farmers instead of introducing innovative techniques
