Also, FDs maa Father in law name nunchi maa husband ki maarachali ante NRO account open cheyyala? can you please guide ? US lo ela declare cheyyali? Tax filing ela chestharu?

We sent that money from US from our savings.. We are now seeing some issues so we want to transfer those FDs on our name before its gone . How can we do that? Please guide ..

Open an NRE/NRO accounts and deposit the funds or FD’s in your accounts. 

As you said some issues, The money would be gone for ever if not already...I dont know your situation but it seems you already lost the money.....Try smart to recover.

Father can transfer money to his son’s account. It is treated as gift and un limited ga ichukovachu. No tax on gift amount (only for close relatives).  India lo and usa lo ekkada tax pay cheyadam avasaram ledu. Mee husband ni NRO account open cheymanandi and then ur father in law can go to bank and ask for transfer to ur husband’s account. Mee husband previously send chesina transactions online copies daggara pettukomanandi just for records
