Suffered? For only one festival. Rtc drivers, conductors, cleaners suffer for every festival with low wages. You suspended them? Should be crazy

Everyone knows that RTC is heading increasingly towards privatization and PPP is the only option left. 

Lets talk facts. There have been previous attempts by governments to privatize or split RTC and because of political pressure, never went ahead. 

Public transportation has changed rapidly in the last two decades but operating principle has not changed. 10 employees per bus is the ratio, Do you think the revenues by one bus is enough to pay salaries to 10 employees ? 

Attempts were made to turn around the corporation but stiff resistance by employee unions have only made things worse. 

The government is looking for a chance and employee unions have given the chance to government.

the 2 reasons for RTC losses are previous borrowings and massive manpower, being a part govt they have recruited more than they need. the privatization has been the bruing issue since 2000 and is not something new.

i feel the solution is PPP as the government failed to operationalize as they seem incapable and turn it to profits, alteast by the evidence of it in last 2 decades and insipite of many warnings anc red herrings they failed miserably,  atleasr in PPP govt has a say in dictating the price like it is happening in Metro case

Rtc chairman post vinava?. You are talking about 50000 families. Why privatization only rtc? Why not education and health?. Education is profiting govt? Common dude. Public transport is for low and middle income. When you privatize rtc, people will have to deal with the increase in ticket prices which is a direct impact on their daily lives. Myhome gadu private bus lu nadupukuntey ika low and middle income can’t afford public transport

do you the salary of a bus driver? how is 40-60k considered a low wage. the RTC bus driver in TG makes 30% more than a private driver with other benefits and how is this a bad deal. please explain
