but it can take many shapes if people are interested in real direct democracy. 

anyway, I agree. neoliberal economics have pitted one state against the other in a battle to attract corporates and shore up state revenue. no state leader is strong enough to fight this. even communists can't fight this if elected to power now.

Yeah brother his was a radical militant ideology...he formed PDS during his time which was further transformed into pdsu after his death...but he used to have some contradictions....he was tacitly supported by them cm brahmananda Reddy during his early days...

I'm trying to search for a book on this era of politics in Hyderabad. I don't want to read book lionising one person, though, because i don't trust most Indian writers to remain distant from the people they write about.
