Can you explain what fundamental rights are taken away by CAB from Indian Citizens? There are many other issues which need healthy debate like Pollution, Reforms to Indian Penal Code, Climate Change, Slowdown in Economy, Science and innovation, call for more R&D, Empowering Education sector,Uniform Civil Code etc.

First of all CAB is not applicable to current Indian Citizens. The beneficiaries of this Amendment are the would be Indian Citizens. So how exactly are the current Indian Citizens' fundamental right of Right to Equality is being taken away?

He is merely stating his opinion, but nowhere he explains how the fundamental rights of Indian Citizens are taken away by CAB. The bill by its nature is specifically carved out to grant Citizenship to  the minorities in the 3 neighboring islamic countries who came to India as Refugee. There is a cut-off date too. Every Indian should be worried if the bill says no muslim shall be given Indian Citizenship. The likes of these videos are just propping fears among Indian muslims, and this is what opposition is trying as well. From the Indian constitution perspective, I don't see any shortcoming with this amendment and I think this bill stands legal scrutiny as well.

This Bill clearly targeted turks community from neighboring countries. Agree ours is not a nation formed based on Religion. But this Bill should not be seen as  targeting Muslims. It should just be seen as a bill towards minorities of neighboring Islamic counties who came to India as Refugees. The premise of this Bill is Refugees from Religious persecution, and on that grounds how can Muslims be persecuted in Islamic Countries? Assam is a special case, and their concerns are genuine. There is a precedent here in the form of Assam Accord. BJP should have finalized a legislation which guarantees Clause 6 of Assam accord, and then taken CAB. I sincerely hope BJP comes out with a legislation for Assam. Opposition main aim is to project this act as against Indian muslims and provoke them to create disorder. Protests in Bengal, Delhi JMU are an example. I think the protests will soon spread to AMU, and Hyderabad too
