There is something called geography. It's too far from any major city or population center.

Kolkata - bengali people owned this city

Chennai - Tamil people owned this city

Bangalore - kannada people owned this city

Vizag - why should  majority of telugu people own it. They already have Hyderabad. It is too far and and there is no emotional connection. There are more things common between Telangana and Rayalaseema people than Vizag.. Someone from Kurnool or ATP will relate more to Hyd than Vizag. Same language, same food mostly.why should they drive 23 hours to Vizag

You came to the right point. Because of geographical proximity, lot of people from ATP and close by districts went and settled in Bangalore. Bangalore lo unna IT industry to Vizag can't compete but Hyderabad can. So even in the future people will lean more towards Bangalore or Hyd than Vizag.

They don't need to when there is already a well developed telugu speaking city close by rather than driving 20 hours. Food is very different. Even language dialect is different.

Uttarandra people accepted Hyd know? Though both places have different dialects?

I agree that Hyd is already developed compared to Vizag, so the chance of people connecting to it more.

Potta kooti kosam prajalu ekkadikayina veltharu.... For example: Vizag lo job oppurtunities ekkuva vunte, people from ATP woudnt mind moving to Vizag based on language compatibility....

Job opportunities and connectivity are the only things that would matter.

I still would argue on food part, other than few localized dishes most of AP has same kind of cuisine.

Yep Amaravthi meeda oka 1% interest undi unte Vizag meeda adi 0.1% aipoindi. There is a funny video in youtube 80% of Rayalaseema people failed to identify Vizag and Vishakapatnam.as the same place..adi valla relativity..
