automation important so learn python first, thats better than java right now. 

linux terminal meeda kooda baane command undali bash scripting etc helps a lot. 

also learn docker, and one cloud platform like AWS. 

if u know AWS, docker, some build tool like jenkins, configuration management like ansible, orchestration tool like kubernetes, python and have good command over linux you should be good to go. 

also learn about how sonarqube works, some nagios, appdynamics monitoring, splunk etc that will be bonus
