exactly... govt and also army are involved in this heavily..even today a country like US didnt ban visitors but India did... we have screenings in multiple airports, this doesnt mean India will be free from the virus... but it proves that govt is atleast trying to do what they can.. It will not be 100% effective with or without public cooperation...

1) we banned tourist visas including OCIs

2) screening happening at airports

3) people are being quarantined based on body temperature because there are not enough test kits yet in the entire world, not just India

4) Some people are running away from the quarantined places without cooperating

5) Some high society people are using influence and escaping this screening process

6) Police, some politicians are all asking people to not socialise for few days... just like the US

 

But the main problem is Modi giving examples from his childhood or him asking people to self curfew...

India is taking good preventive measures but US lo air traffic manamu 1% kuda undamu..the economy runs on airlines..airlines are the defacto erra busslu Ikkada. millions fly in and out every day out of US and it is not a easy call to restrict travel unless the situation is deemed that serious. India is in a peculiar situation..prevention is its best chance and it take no chance as our health infrastructure is worse

South Asian/India and African countries are less impacted because of less travelers unlike Europe and USA or Japan or Korea. Mana travelers lo 90%  i.e desis..business and tourist travelers are very low unlike western nations. That doesn’t mean India is doing better than them. Valla health, social, communication infrastructure are far superior than ours

how many visit the countries is not the point here... India ki kooda visitors unnar.... more than you actually think we have... .we may not have that much of tourism but there are several people that travel to India for businesses and also education from smaller countries... andhulo a handful people are enough for the virus to spread like wildfire... its already picking up now in India too... ,... eventually it will happen, army or govt officials or the health care people cant make it zero and the virus will find its way into deeper parts of India apudu neeku full paney pani...
