As states like New York scramble to obtain ventilators during the COVID-19 pandemic, President Trump suggested in a Thursday interview on Fox News that New York Governor Cuomo's demands were exaggerated. On Friday, the president changed course, invoking the Defense Production Act to temporarily enlist General Motors into the production effort.
