Job Description:

3 Staff day shift 7:30am - 4:00pm RDO Tues/weds
2 Staff evening shift 3:30pm- 12:00am RDO Tues/Weds
Lunch - Half an hour

The responsibilities are as follow:
Take the lead over Building Maintenance Workers in the performance of their duties.
Scrubs, strips, waxes, and polishes floors using heavy (industrial type) powered scrubbers and buffers.
Washes walls using a powered wall washing machine.
Vacuum cleans rugs using heavy (industrial type) vacuum cleaners.
Adjusts, cleans, and oils the above machines and changes brushes, rollers, buffers, and other attachments.
Moves heavy furniture, supplies and equipment.
Does the full range of cleaning duties in an assigned area (building, hospital ward, and so forth) following general instructions on the work to be done.
Uses various preparations to clean and maintain linoleum, wood, marble, and various kinds of floors, wall and ceiling surfaces, and furniture.
Removes stains from a variety of surfaces using chemicals and cleaning solutions.
Cleans business offices, cafeterias, living quarters, classrooms, halls, gymnasiums, auditoriums, hospital wards, lavatories, and other buildings.
Burns trash in incinerators.
Moves furniture and sets up tables and chairs in an auditorium or hall.
Polishes metal fixtures and trimmings.
May tend low pressure boilers used to produce hot water and heat
Tidies working areas by arranging equipment, materials, and articles in an orderly manner.
Deposits sweeping in trash cans.
Services water coolers.

Not trying to discredit this job............. but even these cleaners deserve atleast $50/hour during this virus pandemic.

 

Don't know how these mestris and companies can sleep at night paying low wages to these frontline people risking their lives for $10/hour........ Heartless and Cruel Mfckers.
