Instead of waiting for years, why don’t they hire someone who is able to learn and execute quickly. I never understand why hiring managers wait years to fill in position but instead don’t give chance for a newbie who is rather interested and motivated to learn. In 4 years you can master any technology.

When they open the position they don’t expect it to take 4 years.

Not necessarily, there are consultancies for other engineering disciplines with mostly Americans, just IT consultancies are filled with Indians.

When there are so many open positions in IT for Americans, why isn’t anyone trying to start consultancies for them? 🤔 May be they did start and it did not work out?
