Demonetisation was the root cause for the slowdown , 99% of old notes were swapped . 

Small minded attitude of BJP leadership is also another cause , giving priority to only their states and industrialists . "Naaku vote veyakapothey neeku endhuku pani chestanu ".

Placing their lackeys in all institutions like CBI , ED , courts . They ensured that business must work with BJP or they will be arrested giving a climate of fear .

These type of attitudes can work when you are a small leader  working in low level like chandrababu , Jagan but as a PM it should never work . KCR is better in some respects , that's why opposition leaders of andhra pradesh have assets and stay in Hyderabad

That's because of kadapa being such a lopsided voting , YCP managed to make all of ceded into Kadapa in 2019
